Governor’s Gambit Session 3

The group camped just off the road and plotted what to do next. Hoppah noted that the towers on the Immanuel Road all have scrolls to revive fallen warriors - sometimes revivify and sometimes reincarnate. The type of scroll usually depends on the skillset of the commanding officer at the tower. T'Darrel explained he was on a quest for Steve to find all things related to Lazord. He felt strongly that the hidden Void Cult Stronghold would be the best place to find forgotten and forbidden literature. He hoped to find a good lead there. The party felt comfortable about its ability to use the road when they wanted and deviated south towards the rumored location of the Void Cult stronghold.

The party spent the night about a mile from the general area of the stronghold. There was a violin...sometimes two...that played in the distance at night. It would quickly change location and direction. T'Darrel and Aspen scouted the woods nearby and found an imp familiar that looked like Cathy Clawford was playing a violin. A dapper, blonde haired half-elf that smelled like death stepped out into the moonlight to introduce himself. The stalker was none other than the great assassin and Low Kirk, Garbyl "The Dent" Dabbert.

Jove had enough of the assassin's taunting and threw a javelin at him. The Dent managed to down most of the party and carry T'Darrel over 100' in the air by only using his eldritch blast. He turned to mist as Aspen hit him with an arrow. The vampire laughed that he had a lot of fun and would be back for more soon enough.

The session stopped there. Long rest before the next session.

Reward and Quest Cards

T'Darrel chose to find two pieces of lost, important literature. If he does, he consecrates hallowed ground in a once unholy location.

Hoppah chose to destroy a Company guard tower on Immanuel's Promenade. If he does, he will receive a scroll of Reincarnate with 1,000 GP worth of blood stones to be used as reagents.

Xavenas chose to knock out or kill Gabryl "the Dent" Dabbert**. If he does, the party will find an extra magic item.

**The Dent must be knocked out or killed only by PCs. No help from NPCs allowed)
